Olympia Presbytery’s Youth Ministry Team is asking individuals and sessions to consider submitting names to be considered for election as Olympia’s Young Adult Advisory Delegate (YAAD) to the 219^th General Assembly, July 1-10, 2010 in Minneapolis, MN. YAADs may speak on the floor of General Assembly, serve on committees of the Assembly with full voice and vote, and vote in an advisory capacity on the floor of the Assembly. Any young person, age 17-23, who is a member of a Presbyterian Church (USA) within the bounds of Olympia Presbytery, may apply. It is expected that the YAAD will attend the entire Assembly. Costs, including travel, housing and meals are covered by General Assembly. The application deadline is January 31.
