Christos Institute offers 3 courses on May 2

The Christos Institute "seeks to transform followers of Christ into His servants by identifying their callings, providing basic theological foundations, building skills in their specific ministry areas, and by connecting them with ministry opportunities where they can serve their communities in the name of Jesus Christ."  On May 2 three classes will be offered, all taught by Olympia Presbytery pastors.  Rev. Mary Hendrickson is the instructor for Teaching Across the Lifespan, Rev Steve Starr for Communication and Preaching, and Rev. Patrick Wrisley for Evangelism in Today's Culture.  All the courses will be offered simultaneously from 9 to 4 at Harbor Covenant Church.  The cost is $ 75, including lunch.

Cambodian Documentation Center issues report on efforts to resolve the impacts of the "killing fields"

The Cambodian Documentation Center issued its quarterly report about current activities related to the trials of those involved in the mass killings and persecutions of the Khmer Rouge time in Cambodia.  In addition to the trials now being conducted, the CDC is involved in a variety of public outreach projects, ranging from victim participation to drama and museum work.
