The Montreat Conference Center board of directors has asked for a six month season of prayer, study, and dialogue with the Montreat Presbyterian Church, the presbytery of Western North Carolina, and Montreat College over the request from the Montreat Presbyterian Church to be dismissed to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC).  The April 24^th meeting of the presbytery of Western North Carolina is the meeting at which the presbytery is expected to vote on the dismissal request from Montreat Presbyterian Church.  Center Press Release
