Hagar’s Community Church

New Worshiping Community at the Washington Correction Center for Women (Gig Harbor, WA)

This emerging ministry is a congregation on "the inside" of WCCW. The pastor, Rev. Layne Brubaker, leads the inside congregation, and facilitates the ministry of the Guide Team. Join what God is doing!

New Worshipping Communities in OlyPres

Every New Church Development (NCD) is considered a "new worshipping community" (NWC)--for example, Umoja (Kenyan congregation) was an NCD before they were chartered by the Presbytery in May 2018. But, not every NWC is a NCD. For example, Lakewood Grace is not intending to become a separate church, but rather a satelite campus of Little Church on the Prairie. Olympia Presbytery is experimenting with New Worshipping Communities and seeing where God leads.

We are a community of Jesus-followers seeking to embody love and hospitality through our:

Shared Table

Shared Journey

Shared Purpose

We meet every Friday night starting at 5:30pm for family dinner and all are welcome! After dinner we gather together to engage Scripture, discussion, spiritual practices, prayer and song. Our kids learn together through song, story, and craft in a guided kids time.
