CONGREGATIONS & PASTORS

Umoja Presbyterian - as we celebrate with this primarily-Kenyan immigrant faith community that worships at the Westminster building in east Tacoma. The Presbytery officially organized them as a congregation at its May 2018 Meeting!

NWC at WCCW (WA Corrections Center for Women) - as the presbytery welcomes Rev. Layne B. Brubaker as the Organizing Pastor for this new ministry! Please pray for the women who live at the WCCW, the staff and for Pastor Layne as they get to know one another.

Rev. David Brown (Immanuel, Tacoma) - as Dave retired from congregational ministry on October 14, 2018. Prayers for Dave, his wife, Ann, and the Immanuel community as they enter this season of transition.

The following churches in Pastoral Transition:

  1. St. John's Chapel by the Sea-Moclips: as they welcomed Rev. Linda Flatley and husband, Diarmid on September 1, and celebrated her installation on October 28.
