Cultivate Dinner Recap: “Experiment, Don’t Launch”

Last week, a group of curious and courageous folks from across Olympia Presbytery gathered at Cove in Olympia for a delicious meal and a powerful conversation around the theme: “Experiment, Don’t Launch.” As part of our Cultivate Dinner series, this gathering focused on the importance of trying small, listening deeply, and embracing imperfection as we imagine new ways of being the Church together.

Our discussion guide invited us to reflect on how God’s work often begins in small, surprising ways as we shared conversation around our  “Experiment Generator” activity, naming a need or longing we’ve noticed in our context and designing a tiny experiment that could be done in the next few weeks. 

It was a night of connection and creativity. We’re grateful to be cultivating imagination and innovation together—one experiment at a time.
