The Rev. Shari Jackson Monson serves as the Stated Clerk of Olympia Presbytery, a role in which she provides essential leadership, guidance, and administrative support to the presbytery and its member congregations. As Stated Clerk, Shari is responsible for recording and maintaining accurate minutes of all presbytery meetings, ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and offering counsel to clergy and lay leaders across the region.
Shari brings a deep commitment to the values of the Presbyterian Church and a passion for fostering collaboration and spiritual growth within the community. She is dedicated to promoting the presbytery's mission to serve Christ through education, advocacy, and community outreach, while supporting congregational health and vitality.
Shari is also known for her strong communication skills, theological insight, and ability to build relationships that strengthen the collective witness of the church. With a deep understanding of church polity and a heart for servant leadership, she is honored to work alongside pastors, elders, and congregations in the pursuit of God's mission.
