Who Should Attend: Ministers of Word and Sacrament and Ruling Elders
Bring Your Team: Ministers serving congregations, we encourage you to bring up to 3 elders or church leaders. Building reconciling communities requires shared vision—come ready to learn and lead together.
PART A: PREP
April 29-30, 2026
2-day intensive in the Puyallup/Tacoma area moving back and forth between spiritual formation engagement and experiential learning working across divides of race, ethnicity, class, and culture.
Guided facilitation through Arrabon’s Foundation of a Reconciling Community workshop where participants will learn how to interact well with the emotions of fear, anger, shame, and grief.
Journeys through facilitated experiential learning where participants will explore a locally contextualized history of race and its impact.
Access to an app-based Spiritual Formation guide that facilitates space to pray, meditate, reflect, and engage with helpful spiritual formation practices.
Cost: $80 for first attendee; $40/person for each additional attendee (up to 3) from the same congregation
Due to space limitations, we are limiting attendance to 4 people per congregation.
Those who wish to stay in a hotel near the training site on Apr 29 may request hotel recommendations and assistance with cost when registering.

PART B: EQUIP
Fall 2026
Combination of online and in-person workshops that equips pastors and church leaders with context and tools for cultivating racial healing and reconciliation
Anchored in a biblical vision of reconciliation, and including an exploration of race in America and its impact on our society
Provides shared knowledge needed to understand the role of a reconciling community, and the shared language to compassionately and effectively talk about the issues involved.
Cost: $40 for first attendee; $20/person for each additional attendee (up to 3) from the same congregation
Attendees should attend both Part A and Part B as Part B builds upon material covered in Part A.
