PCUSA 225th General Assembly Starts Tomorrow!

On Saturday, June 18th the 225th General Assembly of the PCUSA will begin. Learn more about the GA and meet our commissioners below.

There are 486 commissioners from 166 presbyteries who will convene for worship, plenaries, fellowship, and committee work over a three-week period of time.

The commissioners have the responsibility of deliberating the business that will come before this assembly and discerning the mind of Christ, in assembly committee meetings and the plenary sessions. Young adult advisory delegates (YADs), theological student advisory delegates (TSADs), missionary advisory delegates (MADs), and ecumenical advisory delegates also bring their experience and perspective to this task. This year’s GA is in a hybrid format with in-person and virtual/digital components.

Olympia Presbytery elected three commissioners for the 225th General Assembly. To learn more about our commissioners and how you can pray for them, scroll down in this newsletter.
