The Presbytery of Olympia is seeking Ministers of the Word and Sacrament, Ruling Elders, and Young Adult Advisor Delegate applicants to serve as commissioners to the 226th General Assembly. This is an opportunity to help the larger church learn, discern and engage in the mission Christ is calling us to do. 

What is the General Assembly (“GA”) ?
 GA is Presbyterians together discerning what the Spirit is saying to the churches. For the upcoming GA in 2024, commissioners will be busy with online (Zoom) committee meetings from June 25-27, 2024, then travel to Salt Lake City, UT, for the June 29 - July 4, 2024 It’s a mix of both in-person and online.  Post GA service in 2024-25 includes interpreting the actions of the General Assembly to the presbytery and its congregations and advising the presbytery on how to vote on any proposed amendments to the PC(USA) Constitution.
